Background
Dr. Chaudhry received his PhD in Political Science from University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and M.Phil from University of Delhi.

Dr. Chaudhry was a Visiting Fellow at the Office of the Executive Director (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan), International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC. He taught at Ohio University, Swarthmore College, Lafayette College, University of Pennsylvania and University of Delhi. Besides book chapters and books, his works have appeared in The World Economy, Journal of Development Studies, Finance and Development, Economic and Political Weekly, Indian Express and G24 Papers. He is working on two book projects "Security, Development and Democracy: A search for Growth" and "The US and the IMF: conditionality and Negotiations". Dr. Chaudhry has carried out extensive research / interviews and lectured in Asia, Europe and South America. Currently he teaches in the School of Graduate Studies at the Global Fashion Management Department as well as Social Sciences at School of Liberal Arts, Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York in New York City.

Presently
At ORF currently he is working on projects titled ? "History through Archives" and "Security Development & Democracy".
