Mr. Manish Tewari is a Member of Parliament and the National Spokesperson for the All India Congress Committee.
He did his LL.B from Delhi University and B.A (Hons.) Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Mr. Tewari joined the youth wing of the Congress in 1981 and rose to become the President of the All India Youth Congress in 1998. He held the position of Secretary to the All India Congress Committee in 2004 and was appointed its spokesperson in 2008. Mr. Tewari was elected to the Indian parliament in 2009 from Ludhiana.
