Background
Dr. Yhome did PhD and M.Phil from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and M.A.(Political Science) from Hyderabad Central University, Hyderabad.

Before joining ORF he worked for New Delhi-based South Asia Foundation as a content provider for the portal on South Asia and as an Editorial Assistant for Indian Foreign Affairs Journal. He also worked on projects covering energy, conflict, terrorism, etc. for various organizations in South Asia. He has contributed chapters in edited books and articles in national and international journals/ magazines. He has qualified National Education Test (NET) for eligibility for lectureship in Politics conducted by University Grant Commission.

Presently
He is working on Myanmar's relations with its neighbours
