Background
Mr. Kasutav holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Pune University. However, his keen interest in studying conflicts brought him to ORF first as an intern in 2007 and later as a Research Assistant in 2008. In the past one year, he has published close to 20 articles, focusing on the insurgency in Pakistan’s Frontier. He has also authored two papers on the insurrection in the Swat Valley and on India-Pakistan relations. His articles have featured in Pioneer and rediff, two of India’s major media organizations.

Presently
Besides pursuing his interests in sub conventional conflicts, he is conducting research on Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons and the future of Hydro-Politics between India and Pakistan.
