Conflict resolution including the domains of nuclear conflict and its various ramifications, ethnic conflicts and security scenarios including the problems facing the Northeast India, Bangladesh.

Background
Dr. Joyeeta has done Ph.D from Assam University, Silchar. She is a diploma holder in HRD from National Institute of Labour Education and Management, Chennai and also in Japanese Language from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi.

She has presented various papers and actively participated in various seminars and conferences. She was awarded Junior Research Fellowship by Indian Council for Philosophical Research (2002-04).
